Comprehensive tiers
OUR ASSESSMENT
The tier is the meaningful comparison unit. Put Essential, Gold or Platinum on the quote sheet, rather than just the Admiral name.
Features to compare
- Gold and Platinum comprehensive cover include published benefits such as an uninsured-driver promise and cover for manufacturer-fitted audio equipment.
- Admiral also offers third party, fire and theft and third party only; eligible driving-other-cars cover is third party only.
Limitations and checks
- Essential is a different tier: do not assume every listed comprehensive benefit applies to it.
The question to ask
Does this particular tier include replacement transport after theft or a total loss?
Before arranging cover
Use the current policy wording and your quotation schedule to confirm these points. Our assessment is desk research, not a first-hand claims test or a personal recommendation. We have not assigned a product score or established comparable claims-service performance.
