How we choose providers

We include familiar national consumer brands, established specialists and business insurers or brokers with publicly documented UK products. This is an expanding editorial directory, not a market-share ranking or a register of every authorised firm. Inclusion is unpaid. Names can share ownership or underwriting capacity: always check the insurer and distributor on your quotation.

Direct Line consumer and business products share one directory entry. LV= general insurance and LV= protection remain separate because they are different businesses. Workplace dental insurance and dentist payment plans are identified in their reviews.
